Guests are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable Food Bank donation. Let's fill the fire truck!

Our Story

A Red Deer Tradition

The Christmas Wish Breakfast began in 2016 around a simple idea: Families Helping Families. What started as a grassroots gathering has grown into one of Red Deer's most beloved holiday traditions — uniting families, volunteers, local businesses, community organizations, firefighters and sponsors under one roof.

2026 marks the 11^th annual Christmas Wish Breakfast.

Over its first ten years, the Christmas Wish Breakfast collected toys, cash and other support with a combined value of over $300,000.

Red Deer Firefighter's Children's Charity

Historically, the Red Deer Firefighter's Children's Charity has contributed approximately $6,000 in toys and brought the always-loved fire truck experience for children at the breakfast — a highlight for kids and families every year.
